Rehearsals

Our singing year is divided up into three terms.

We hold rehearsals on Wednesdays from 7.45 to 9.45pm in Betchworth Memorial Village Hall, Station Road, RH3 7DF.

 Rehearsals - What to expect? 

We sign in at the door, so if you're new or dropping in, please do just introduce yourself. We'll pair you up with a choir member from your section and our Librarian, Jill Howlett, will provide you with the music.

We like to try and start promptly. Our conductor, George Inscoe, puts us through a series of warm-up exercises before we get serious!  This term, we're getting to grips with the sublime Mozart's Requiem for our November concert, to be performed with orchestra and professional soloists.

Halfway through we stop for a quick coffee/tea/biscuits break - it's thirsty work! It's also a great chance to get to know other singers and catch up for chats, ask questions etc. We're a friendly bunch!

And then we do it all again the following week - only better!
